Edvald Boasson-Hagen won the Tour of Norway after Alexander Kristoff took the fifth and final stage.
A group of twelve riders had been cut down to eight and included Sep Vanmarcke on the final 173km stage from Gjøvik to Hønefoss.
With forty kilometres raining, the gap was 2.15 back to the peloton which included race leader Edvald Boasson Hagen.
On the final climb of the race and the gap was down to 30 seconds. Lars Petter Nordhaug broke away but was caught by Hansen and another rider with six kilometres to go.
Under the flam rouge and Luke Rowe was drilling the front for Team Sky but Alexander Kristoff lead the sprint and won his third stage of the race 4.04.29 ahead of Holst Enger..
Boasson-Hagen's third place was enough to give him the overall victory.
