Cavendish Out For Six Weeks

‎Former British and World Champion Mark Cavendish will be out for six week. The Manx Missile is to undergo surgery on Wednesday on the separated shoulder he sustained after crashing on the opening stage of the 2014 Tour De France.
 
Cavendish's Omega Pharma Quick Step Team have confirmed that he suffered he ruptured ligaments around his acromioclavicular joint and a separated shoulder and that the surgery on Wednesday will take around six weeks to recover.
 
As well as completing the Tour De France, Cavendish was due to compete in the Commonwealth games in Glasgow but will now miss this.
