Chavanel Takes Three Days of De Panne

Omega Pharma Quick Step's Sylvain Chavanel won the Three Days of De Panne with a super time trial in De Panne.

The final day was split into two two stages and saw Chavanel romp home in a time of 17:49 to beat Lieuwe Westra by four seconds after Alexander Kristoff of Katusha had won the stage this morning.

Kristoff who looked to have the race in the bag, finished 1.19 down and only finsihed 12th.

Britain's Andrew Fenn was eliminated from the final stage.
