Chris Froome has won the Tour Of Romandie in Switzerland for a second successive time.
Simon Spilak went into the final stage which was an 18.5km individual time trial around Neuchâtel with a finish in Neuchâtel Xamax's football ground.
Sven Tuft had set the early time of 26:16.880 but that was before the World Time Trial champion Tony Martin of Omega Pharma Quick Step had gone down the ramp.
The German did not disappoint and setting the new fastest of 24.51. No-one was able to get close to Martin's time so the attention switched to who would win the race overall when first Chris Froome and lastly Simon Spilak of Katusha went down the ramp.
With only a second separating the first two, Froome went for it and was 23 seconds ahead of the 27 year old at the first checkpoint.
Froome kept going and flew home to beat Tony Martin's time by less than a second in 24.50.92 but with Spilak finishing 29.08 seconds after Froome's time, the Team Sky rider took the stage win and overall victory by 28 seconds from Spilak and 1.32 ahead of Rui Costa.
