Coventry Bees captain Chris Harris celebrates his Testimonial meeting at Brandon today at 2pm
Harris has promised a packed day of track action, which gets underway at 1.30pm with a series of races for the sport’s rising stars from the National League and British Youth series.
The Main Event starts at 2pm and features a 16-rider field racing over the traditional 20-heat schedule, followed by four Finals in a format used in the early days of the Grand Prix series. There will also be a post-meeting auction and disco in the Under-stand bar.
Harris said: “I’m looking forward to it, the weather’s going to be kind to us this time and it should be a good afternoon of racing.
“We’ve tried to work it so there’s a lot of racing for the paying public to enjoy, and I’m really pleased with the line-up.
“I can’t thank the riders who have agreed to do it enough, we wanted to put together a good line-up to get the crowd through the gates and hopefully they’ll enjoy it and see some great racing.”
