A crowd of 1,097 saw Coventry Bears go down to a defeat against Keighley Cougars at the Ricoh Arena.
The Cougars scored with two tries in the opening 22 minutes before James Geurtjens ran in a try for the Bears in the 31st minute.
Martlin ran in a third try for the visitors and Cov were 14-4 down at half time.
In the second half, Peltz scored with a 46th minute try for the Cougars which was converted by Brook.
Cov came back with a try in the 50th minute from Grant Beecham which James converted and four minutes later, Liam Thompson forced his way over for a try which James converted.
That made the score - Bears 16 Cougars 20 in a game where Joel James and Liam Darville were sin-binned for a dust up.
Ash Lindsay went over for a converted try in the 72nd minute as did Paul White three minutes later.
In the final minute, Hamish Barnes ran in another try for the visitors and Cov went down to a 16-36 defeat.
