Cov Rugby Club hammered Wharfedale 53-26 at the Butts Park Arena.

Coventry delighted the majority of the 1056 crowd when Turner ran in a first minute try, converted by Hodgson who converted again, four minutes later when Hurrell ran in a try.

MacBurnie ran in a third try after 21 minutes that Hodgson converted before he kicked a penalty.

Coventry ran in tries through Poole, two form Hodgson, Lespierre and  Price to lead 43-5 at the break.

Although Wharfedale came back with tries from Burridge and Jordan who scored two tries and kicked three conversions, Hodgson kicked a penalty and converted a stoppage time Rundle try to give Coventry a 52-26 win.
