Coventry Rugby Club were beaten by Championship side London Welsh at the Butts Park Arena this afternoon.
Cov were 7-0 down thanks to a Martyn Thomas try but in the 29th minute, fly half Caolan Ryan reduced the arrears with a penalty and a second ten minutes later,
Four minutes into the second half and Cov took the lead when James Tincknell went over but two minutes later, the visitors were in front when Guy Armitage scored.
Darren Waters extended London Welsh's lead which was further extended by a 62nd minute penalty try.
Waters added another try and Cov got a late try through Tom Poole which was converted by Adam Canning but they were beaten 33-18,
