Coventry Rugby Club recorded their tenth successive victory with a 62-31 win over Fylde at Butts Park Arena.
Cov's biggest crowd of the season of 1737, saw Cliff Hodgson go over for a third minute try which he converted.
The sides matched other try for try until the score was 28-28 and going into stoppage time. Coventry scored from a penalty try which Hodgson converted to see them 35-28 at the interval.
Cov tightened their defence in the second half, restricting the visitors to a 47th minute penalty whilst Lespierre, Pailor and Knox ran in tries, the third of which Hodgson converted in the 59th minute. Hodgson also converted a 65th minute try from Onojaife and with Jones kicking a penalty four minutes into stoppage time, Cov recorded their tenth successive victory witha 62-31 win.
