Coventry Bears Rugby League team were beaten 44-22 at Barrow Raiders on Saturday night.
Cov took the lead when Richie Hughes went over and Dan Parker converted in the 14th minute after Barrow had scored a try to put four points on the board.
The Bears scored two more tries with one from Liam Thompson before Cameron Pitman and Adam Nicholson restored Barrow's lead.
Then just before half-time, Cov scored another try to lead 22-20 at the break.
Lupton, Hankinson twice and Briscoe ran in tries in the second half with Cov not being able to add to their tally and it was another defeat for the Bears.
