Coventry Bees beat Lakeside Hammers 57-33 tonight at Brandon in a re-arranged Elite League meeting.
The Bees had Jason Garrity win the opening heat in a 3-3 and Josh Bates take the second heat which was also a 3-3.
Krzysztof Kasprzak and Danny King rode to a 5-1 in the third heat and Wornya and Sarjeant did the same in the fourth heat which saw the Bees 16-8 up.
Former Bees rider Ed Kennett took the win for Lakeside in a 4-2 which was followed by King winning in a 3-3 and Garrity and Kasprzak taking a 5-1.
After a 3-3, Garrity took the win in a 5-1 and Bates won in a 4-2 with Garrity taking the win in a 4-2, James Sarjeant in a 5-1 and Kasprzak in a 4-2 before the meeting ended with two 3-3's and a fine Bees victory..
