Coventry Bees were beaten 54.35 at Kings Lynn this evening.
The Bees, who had not riden this month travelled to the Adrian Flux Arena second in the Elite league table.
The Bees had Matej Kus guesting for Stuart Robson and he rode in the first heat with Chris Harris. Kings Lynn got straight onto a 5-1 with Iversen and Porsing and that was how it stayed.
Garrity and Sarjeant went in heat two and Garrity went into the lead in this re-run heat. Sarjeant joined him and the match was level as the Bees took a 5-1.
Danny King and Joonas Kylmakorpi had the ride in heat three but it was Lindgren, who was guesting, who got to the front and won in a 3-3 with Kylmakorpi second and King third.
Hans Andersen and James Sarjeant went next with Andersen taking the lead ahead of Bjerre and Morris in a 3-3.
In heat five, Kus and Garrity rode but they were behind Adam Ellis who won in another 3-3.
Kylmakorpi and Harris took on Bjere and Iversen in heat six. The first attempt was re-run but on the second attempt, Harris got to the front when suddenly when his bike locked and hit the airfence. Thankfully, Harris jumped off in time and was able to walk away but was excluded and Kings Lynn took a 5-1 to go 20-16 up.
Hans Andersen and Danny King rode in heat seven but it was Iversen and Lindgren who got to the front. Andersen got back in front of Lindgren with Iversen taking his third win, the Bees went down to a 4-2 heat loss to trail by six at the halfway stage.
Kus and Garrity went next and Kenneth Bjerre took the lead ahead of Kus and Garrity and it was a 3-3.
Heat nine saw an outing for James Sarjeant and Hans Andersen in a meeting which now had Danny King ruled out by the race doctor.
Sarjeant got away whilst Andersen battled Nicklas Porsing but could not hold him and the Bees had to take a 4-2 rather than a 5-1.
In heat ten, Lindgren got past Harris and Kus but Harris got back in front as Kus' bike packed up and the Bees, who take on Swindon on Sept 2nd at Brandon in a meeting which is live on Sky, had a 3-3.
Kylmakorpi had his bike pack up in heat eleven as Iversen beat Andersen and Porsing for a 4-2 to Kings Lynn to tak their advantage back to six points.
Garrity and Sarjeant needed a win in heat twelve. James Sarjeant broke the tapes. Sarjeant had to go off 15 metres but it was both Kings Lynn riders who hit the deck after hitting Garrity who had come up on the inside. Both Sarjeant was disqualified for dropping his clutch and Garrity was also disqualified, giving Kings Lynn a 5-0 win that meant that Bees were now down by eleven points.
Harris and Kylmakorpi needed to win in heat thirteen but Harris got behind Iversen and then kept off Lindgren for a 4-2 which gave Kings Lynn the meeting win and maintains their unbeaten record this season.
Kus and Andersen took on Bjerre and Lindgren in heat fourteen and the home side were on a 5-1 until Andersen got in front of Bjerre for a 4-2 to Kings Lynn.
Kings Lynn were fifteen points ahead going into the final heat and Harris and Andersen took on Iversen and Lindgren who got ahead Harris went after Lindgren but the Bees were not able to take more than a point and they lost 54-35.
