Coventry Bees are through to the Elite League Play-Offs after a 47-43 win against Swindon Robins.
At Brandon, the rain stopped and the meeting went ahead, with Chris Harris and Kyle Howarth going into the first heat.
Chris Harris won the heat with Howarth third in a 4-2 which was followed by Jason Garrity winning in a 3-3 which was followed by another 3-3 and a win for Max Fricke who was guesting again for the Bees.
Hans Andersen and James Sarjeant rode in heat four. Rose caught Hans Andersen and his chain came off but he was excluded by the referee Graham Flint for the third running of this heat. Not surprisingly, Peter Kildemand guesting for Swindon won the heat with ease in a 4-2 to the Robins.
That meant that the score was now 12-12 and Howarth and Garrity rode in heat five. However, it was former Bees rider Arron Summers who took the win in a 4-2 heat win for Swindon.
In heat six, Andersen and King rode but they could not get past Troy Batchelor and it was a 3-3.
Chris Harris and Max Fricke went in heat seven which was stopped three times before Fricke won in a 4-2 to level the scores at 21-21.
Andersen and Sarjeant went in heat eight which was initally stopped after James Sarjeant went slightly early. When the heat was re-run, Sarjeant got off to a flyer with Andersen following and the Bees had a 5-1.
Garrity and Howarth went in heat nine. They were on a 5-1 when Kildemand slipped off his bike but did not get off the track and the heat was stopped. Gary Havelock and Mick Horton fumed but it was too early to award the heat and Kildemand was disqualified and the heat had to be re-run which Garrity and Howarth won in a 5-1.
Fricke and King rode in heat ten but it was a 5-1 to Swindon who took on Harris and Howarth in heat eleven. Swindon got onto a 5-1 and despite the efforts of Harris, it was a 5-1 to Swindon and the meeting was level again at 33-33.
In heat twelve, Jason Garrity had a go but with James Sarjeant finishing last, Swindon took the lead with a 4-2 with a win for Lewis Rose.
Troy Batchelor went down in heat thirteen just as Harris and Fricke were on a 5-1. Batchelor was disqualified leaving Zengota to take on the Bees duo.
In the re-run, Zengota got into the lead and kept it as the rain came down for a 3-3.
Andersen and King rode in heat fourteen with the Bees still two points down. King won and with Andersen getting past Morris, the Bees took a 4-2 to level it up going into the final heat against a Swindon side which had also qualified for the play-offs.
Danny King and Max Fricke took on Kildemand and Zengota in the final heat. The Bees got onto a 5-1 with King in front and that was how it stayed and the Bees took a 47-43 win.
