Coventry Blaze won 6-5 in over-time at Edinburgh Capitals tonight.
Around twenty Blaze fans were in Edinburgh to see the Blaze take the lead after 41 seconds through Drew Fisher, who scored, assisted by Robinson and Valabik.
Neil Trimm made it two on 1.03 with a goal on the powerplay, assisted by Pietrus and Robinson and scored again on 2.43, assisted by Robinson and Fisher, with Robinson netting a fourth goal on 8.14, assisted by Pietrus and Fisher.
Edinburgh pulled a powerplay goal back through Emmerson on 17.19 but Cov had a fifth forty one seconds into the second period when Trimm completed his hat-trick, assisted by Noble and Cowley.
The Scottish side started to come back and goals from Rutherford on 7.23, a powerplay goal from Zanette on 33.49 and a powerplay goal from Lukecevic on 36.56 meant that at the end of the second period, the Blaze led by a single goal.
With twenty two seconds of the match left, Edinburgh equalised to send the game into over-time.
The Blaze were on the powerplay and on 63.53, Mike Quesnele scored to give Coventry a 6-5 win.
