Coventry Storm Finish As Runners Up

Coventry Storm finished as National League Runners Up after losing 44-46 (86=98 on aggregate) to Cradley tonight.

In the National Grand Final second leg which was switched to Leicester due to Brandon's unavailability, the opening three heats finished in a 3-3.

Starke, who were ten points down from the first leg, won in heat four for a 4-2 to Cradley and after three more 3-3's, Cradley took a 4-2 in heat eight to lead 4-2.

Dan Greenwood won in a 4-2 but with the Storm on a 5-1 in heat ten, Clegg got past the Storm guest Simon Lambert and with Priest falling, Cradley took a 4-2.

After a 3-3, Clegg won in a 5-1 for Cradley that was followed by a 3-3.

The Storm were eight points down going into the last two two heats and took the last two heats 4-2 and 5-1 but it was not enough and Cradley won the meeting 46-44 and took the Grand title with a twevle point victory.
