COVENTRY Storm won for the first time since May with a 46-42 victory at Buxton this afternoon.
Liam Carr took a fifteen point maximum in the win and Strom manager Laurence Rogers said: “It was a very good result, but once again we’ve got a mix of good news and bad news with Dan Greenwood breaking his collarbone.
“It was still nice to get a win away from home, and the boys showed a lot of spirit to come out on top.
“Liam Carr was tremendous, scoring a 15-point maximum, and Jamie Halder also did a great job on his first meeting back from injury.”
The Storm travel to top of the table Birmingham on Wednesday (7.30) before hosting the National League Fours at Brandon next Sunday, August 14 (2.30).
