Demare Wins Grand Prix d'Isbergues

FDJ's Arnaud Demare won the Grand Prix d'Isbergues.

This 200.5km race which was first competed for in 1945, attracted eighteen teams including a number of World Tour teams to the Pas De Calais department which borders the strait of Dover.

The race in its 68th edition was won by Frenchman Arnaud Demare who won a bunch sprint in a time of 4.28.06 ahead of AG2R's Yauheni Hutarovich, IAM Cycling's Heinrich Haussley, Tom Van Asbroeck of Topsort Vlaanderen and Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg of Giant Shimano,

They were followed by Julien Simon of Cofidis, Sam Dumoulin of AG2R, Wanty-Groupe's Jean Pierre Drucker, FDJ's Mickael Delage and Baptiste Planckaert of Roubaix Lille Metropole.
