Romain Feillu of Bretagne Seche Enviroment has won the Route Adélie de Vitré in France.
This 198km race started and finished in Vitré and was made up of a main circuit of 21kms which was riden six times and included the communities of Balazé, Taillis and Montreuil before finishing in Vitré and then a second 8.9 circuit which was traversed eight times.
Boudat, Tarride, Zenovich, Riblon, Summerhill and Tronet were in the first break of the day and had a lead of 3.05 after twenty kilometres.
The gap went out to 4.45 before coming back down to 55 seconds with 53 kilometres left.
With twenty six kilometres to go, the break was caught and twelve kilometres later, Canola, Jarrier, Laborie, Mager, Combaud & Koretzky had an eight second lead over over Thomas Voeckler, Pichon, Berard, Courteille & Desirac.
The peloton started to close in and going into the final kilometre, they caught the escapers and chasers and Romain Filleu was able to take the win in a time of 4.58.55 ahead of Nacer Bouhanni, followed by Timothy Dupont, Laborie and Giraud.
