Garmin Barracuda won the Team Time Trial of the Giro D'Italia this afternoon.
Stage four after everyone had flew from Denmark to Verona yesterday, was a 33.2km team time trial around Verona.
French team AG2R were the first team down the ramp. then at three minute intervals on a sunny day, the teams followed.
AG2R set the time of 38.49 to beat and beat it soon was, with Lotto going through on 38.09 and then Katusha on 37.09.
Mark Cavendish lead out the Team Sky team who came in at a time of 37.34 which was sixth fastest at that point with a number of teams still on the road.
Garmin-Barracuda had been fastest at the two intermediate time checks and they came in at 37.04 with an average speed of 53kmph.
Last on the road were BMC with race leader Taylor Phinney, patched up after Monday's crash. Phinney went off course and ended up with grass in his gears but continued to the finish line get his team home in tenth.

The result means that Ramunas Navardauskas is now the leader of the race. He is ten seconds clear of team-mates Tyler Farrar and Robert Hunter.
Stage five tomorrow is from Modena to Fano and is 209km long.
