Team Giant-Alpecin is pleased to announce that several more partners will come on board from this season to further strengthen the list of technical partners supplying some of the latest, most innovative products available to the professional peloton.
Pioneer Electronics joins the team for 2015 to provide the riders with the latest in power measuring technology to help both athletes and performance staff to fine-tune each and every rider’s training and racing programmes through expert analysis and evaluations. The support includes outfitting each of the team’s bicycles with the advanced dual-leg power meter crank sets and SGX-CA500 Cycle-Computer.
“We’re extremely proud that Team Giant-Alpecin recognizes the capabilities of our power meter system for training and improving the performance of their athletes,” Russ Johnston, executive vice president of marketing and corporate communications, Pioneer Americas. “We’ve worked hard to develop products that perform at the highest level in the sport. We’re fortunate to have gained respect at the UCI ProTeam level and excited to be working with such high caliber pro cycling teams.”
For innovative and high-performance race and training clothing Team Giant-Alpecin will be partnering up with Etxeondo, the high-end cycling clothing manufacturer from the Basque Country.
Etxeondo's founder and owner Francisco Rodrigo commented: "We are very pleased having entered this partnership with Team Giant-Alpecin. We are committed to create the best possible products for them. This is a team with great riders and global appeal. Through our products and innovation we want to help them win races."
From 2015, the riders will also benefit from the use of EPIC Travelgear for seamless luggage solutions, to help take the stress out of packing before and after races. A rider will un-pack and re-pack a suitcase over a hundred times over the course of a season and so high-quality travel gear to meet their needs is important.
EPIC Travelgear is yet another company that closely follows the team's ethos of an innovative approach to continually striving to improve in areas of their business and their products, and hold innovation in high regard.
Team Giant-Alpecin and Herzog will recontinue their partnership in 2015, to continue to provide innovative garment recovery systems including Herzog Compressionsocks and both recovery systems: Compry Cool and Compry Recovery.
Herzog Medical is an international player in the field of therapeutic elastic stockings in sports. Their success is based on years of medical experience and continuous dialogue with resellers and end-users. The product range consists of professional solutions for recovery and a variety of sports-related injuries.
