BMC's Philippe Gilbert has won the 28th Ster ZLM Toer GP Jan van Heeswijk.
The Belgian finished in 12th place on the final 173.7km stage from Gerwen to Boxtel which saw Keisse and Van Goethem take a 3.35 lead out front whilst in the peloton de Bakker, Van Emden and Van Kessel were involved in a crash.
With 38.8km to go, Keisse and Van Goethem were still out front with a two minute lead that had been at a maximum of 4.50.
Garmin-Sharp started the chase and inside the final twenty kilometres of this year's race and the gap was now under a minute.
The two escapers were finally caught inside the final few kilometres and Androni took to the front.
Going into the final kilometre, there was a crash in the peloton which had been altogether and only twelve riders on the front avoided being sent flying or delayed.
Lotto Belisol's Andre Greipel was one of those and he was able to take the stage victory in 3.54.41, followed by Tyler Farrar of Garmin Sharp and Belkin's Robert Wagner.
Race leader Philippe Gilbert came home in 12th place and he took the Ster ZLM Toer GP Jan van Heeswijk title for a third time.
