Plans are underway for the start of the 2014 Giro D'Italia to start in Northern Ireland.
The Republic Of Ireland will also be featured in the three day event although Belfast is expected to stage the opening day.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, the estimated cost of staging the start of the second biggest race in cycling would be £3.8 million. However, they would expect a return of around £10 million
The race is likely to start around the bank holiday weekend of May 2nd to 4th, 2014.
