Coventry Blaze coach said it was a relief after his side got back to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Dundee Stars on Sunday night.
Speaking to the Blaze website, Stewart said: “It’s a relief for myself and the guys. We had put in some good performances but just found ways to lose games.
"Last night wasn’t one of our best performances, we got beat by the better team on the night but it was good to see these guys, after a long bus trip, show a lot of character and play a good game...
" I think it could easily have been 5,6 or 7. We kept things simple, we simplified our game and had pucks around their net all night and that’s the way we are going to have success.”
