Nikolas Maes of Omega Pharma-Quick Step won the World Ports Classic with a third place on the second and final stage.
The slightly longer reverse of the first stage from Antwep to Rotterdam won by Topsport's Jelle Wallays who had a lead of 26 second, saw Jacob Rathe take the first sprint at Neeltje Jans after 74kms.
A group of about fifty riders were clear with just over sixty kilometres remaining and that was trimmed down to sixteen riders in Maarten Tjallingii and Maarten Wynants (Belkin); Frederique Robert, Jonas Van Genechten, Stig Broeckx and Lars Ytting Bak (Lotto Belisol); Jonathan Cantwell, Marko Kump and Jonas Jorgensen (Saxo-Tinkoff); Nikolas Maes (Omega Pharma-QuickStep); Alexander Porsev (Katusha); Wouter Mol (Vacansoleil-DCM); Roy Curvers (Argos-Shimano); Reinier Honig (Crelan-Euphony); Tristan Valentin (Cofidis) and Bryan Coquard (Europcar), who took over on the front as the race moved into Belgium.
Lars Bak took the three points for winning the second sprint at - Woensdrecht and with twenty kilometres to go, Maarten Tjallingii of Belkin, decided to go away from the group that had a lead of 3.16 on the blue jersey group of Wallays.
As the likes of British rider Jonathan McEvoy of Team NetApp-Endura started to withdraw, Tjallingii, who was 1.18 down on GC, got the hammer down as Jonathan Cantwell who was the virtual leader on the road, tried to control things with two team mates.
Passed the vast shipping container yard in Antwerp, Tjallingii's gap went out to 23 seconds with 14.2kms to go.
On the wide roads of Antwerp and the Belkin rider kept going and won in a time of 3.55.12 ahead of Young Riders Winner Frederique Robert of Lotto Belisol and Nikolas Maes of Omega Pharma-Quick Step who won the race overall with a two second lead over Saxo-Tinkoff's Jonathan Cantwell.
