Tony Martin of Omega Pharma Quick Step extended his lead in the Tour De Suisse with victory in the time trial.
Stage seven was a 24.7km time trial, starting and finishing in Worb and saw Fabian Cancellera of Trek Factory Racing as the early leader, fininshing in 32.18.
It was a time that lasted until the riders, who were high up in the General Classification were starting to finish when Rui Costa of Lampre fnished in 32.05.
No-one was able to beat that until Tom Dumoulin, who was second on General Classification, some six seconds down on Tony Martin, finished in 31.09.
Tony Martin was on the course, needing to pull out something, to keep his lead in this race. The German and three times World Time Trial champion, has been in great form so far this season and yet again, he showed his class, sailing through the first check point clear and then finishing twenty two seconds ahead of Dumoulin's time to win the stage and extend his lead in the race over Tom Dumoulin to 28 seconds.
