The opening 8km Montfort-l'Amaury stage was won by Rabobank's Lars Boom with Jens Voigt second.
Tomorrow's 203.5km first stage from Saint- Arnoult-en-Yvelines to Contres can be seen live on British Eurosport.

Bradley Wiggins finished third in the Tour du Murcia. Holland's Theo Bos won the final stage today but Wiggins could not gain any time on the race leader Frantisek Rabon and finished the general classification some 53 seconds behind the Czech.

HTC Colombia rider Mark Cavendish will ride in the Tirreno-Adriactico which starts on Wednesday with an opening stage from Livorno to Rosignano-Solvay.
