After being approved during the last steering committee meeting held in Tallinn (Estonia), The European Cycling Union moved its headquarters to the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, (Switzerland).

The official setting took place in the last days in the presence of the Continental Confederation President, David Lappartient, and Union Cycliste Internationale President, Brian Cookson.

“Moving our headquarters to the World Cycling Centre – David Lappartient said – is a further step to strengthen the relations between the UEC and the UCI; a symbiotic relationship that is already yielding great results and is going to be even closer and fruitful. Let me thank President Cookson for having welcomed us to the home of world cycling, a place that will prompt us to work further to spread cycling and its best values across Europe.”
