According to the AFP News Agency, Lance Armstrong will not appeal his lifetime ban from cycling.
Armstrong, who was named as Texan Of The Year by one Texan newspaper, could have appealed to the Court Of Arbitration Of Sport (CAS) after having 21 days notice from the UCI that he was being stripped of seven Tour De France titles.
Amongst those after Armstrong are the Sunday Times who are suing over the settlement of a libel action, which followed doping allegations against him that it published.
