UCI World road race champion Mark Cavendish will possibly have three more races before the season ends.
Cavendish, who won the Elite Mens race las Sunday in Denmark to become only the second ever British wearer of the coverted Rainbow Jersey, an accolade far more prestigous than Olympic gold, has been lined up for the sprint classic that is the Paris-Tours on Sunday october 9th.
The Italian press have Cavendish, who is still to announce for which team he will be riding for next season, as a possible for the Giro del Piemonte (October 13) and then the Giro di Lombardia (October 15) but these have yet to be confirmed.
