Nairo Quintana of Movistar won the Tour De San Luis, finishing safely on a final seventh stage won by Sacha Modolo.
This 148.1km stage from San Luis to Terrazas del Portezuelo, saw Nairo Quintana with a thirty five second lead over Phillip Gaimon and the Movistar rider just needing to finish.
The first real break of the day started, as the riders lead by Quintana descended the the Alto de los Puquios after 17.1kms, with Weber, Ochoa, Alarcón, Betancur, and Valencia (COL) open up a 2.55 gap with eighty kilometres to go.
That time had extended over the three minute mark when Juan Pablo Valencia took the second Meta Sprint in El Durazno, a category which Julian Gaday had already won.
With Alarcón shed, the peloton upped their speed to 70kmh to try and bring back the three escapers but with 51kms to go, their lead was around the four minute mark.
Thirty kilometres later and Weber, Ochoa, Betancur, and Valencia were caught and the riders set off for what was a difficult finish at Terrazas del Portezuelo which included a bend in the last one hundred metres.
Lampre and Cannondale worked together on the front so it went to a bunch sprint and Lampre got Sacha Modolo in the right place to take the stage victory in 3.13.28 ahead of Peter Sagan and Max Richeze.
Movistar's Nairo Quintana came in safely in the peloton to win the race overall to go along with his victory in the King Of The Mountains competition. Quintana finished 43 seconds ahead of Garmin Sharp's Phillip Gaimon.
Britain's Adam Yates won the Young Riders competition with Colombia winning the Team Classification.
