Halesowen's Jess Varnish won silver in the Women's Sprint tonght on the second day of the UCI World Cup in Glasgow.
Another packed venue saw Varnish beat fellow Brit Becky James on her way to the final but Germany's Kristine Vogel was too strong and took the gold medal.
There was no medal for Jason Kenny as he crashed in the final of the Mens Kerin. Kenny went down after a touch of wheels with race winner Germany's Stefan Boetticher.
Brit Lewis Oliva was taken to hospital after crashing in the qualfying rounds of the Kerin.
