Coventry Storm beat Stoke 55-37 at Brandon on Friday night.
The Storm were able to field a strong team and after the opening heat finished in a 3-3, a heat which saw the fastest time of the season in 61.2 seconds set, Knuckey and Terry-Daley rode to a 5-1 in the second heat.
Stoke took the next three heats 4-2 to lead 16-14 but Oliver Greenwood and Luke Priest took a 5-1, followed by a 3-3 and an awarded 5-1 in heat eight to see the Storm now six points up.
A new National League track record was set in heat nine which saw Stefan Nielsen win in a 4-2 in a time of 61 seconds.
In a re-run heat ten, Greenwood took another win in a 4-2 so being ten points behind, Stoke took a tactical with Lambert riding and finishing second to James Sarjeant in a 4-4.
A 3-3 and two 5-1's and a 3-3 in the final heat made sure that the Storm rode to another comfortable victory.
