Coventry Storm Speedway Team have Callum Walker.
The teenage will take their number eight slot for the new National League season.
Manager Laurence Rogers said to the Coventry Bees website: “I saw Callum ride at Newport several years ago and was quite impressed. Then I saw him in action at Leicester when he and Zach hired it for practice before they rode abroad.
“He concentrated a bit more on his grasstrack and longtrack racing last year, but this season he wants to do speedway as well as that.
“Unfortunately he blew his engine to pieces at Scunthorpe, but courtesy of City Gearboxes they loaned him an engine to ride at Peterborough.
“It was his first time on a bike for a while so naturally he was a little tentative at the start but then he got better and better as the session went on, and we feel he very much has the potential and is a kid of 16 who is worth bringing on.”
