The 2014 Tour De France will start in Yorkshire, Amaury Sports Organisation announced today.
Leeds will host the Grand Depart with two days of racing on the 5th and 6th July before a third stage which finishes in London.
The Yorkshire Tourism Board has bid more than four million pounds to get the stage ahead of Edinburgh and Florence and are hoping it will be as successful as when London hosted the Grand Depart in 2007.
