STEVEN TRONET has signed for another season with the FORTUNEO-VITAL CONCEPT team.
Tronet, who will be 29 in October, has signed for the team which is changing its name from Bretagne-Séché Environnement in January 2016 and turned pro in 2007.
He won the Championship Of France back in June and has had four victories in total including a stage of the Route du Sud, and the 2nd place in the Boucles de L'aulne. He is currently 28th (and 5th French) in the classification of the UCI Europe Tour.
"I had an eye on Steven for many years, says Emmanuel Hubert, manager general of Bretagne-Séché Environnement." But he exploded this season and showed that he had a role to play at a higher level. I love this type of rider, who will ride quickly but is also known to be offensive.
"This is a great merit for Auber 93 wearing at this level. On our side, it is obviously rewarding for a team that will wear a new identity and publicise new partners that for the first six months of its first season, we will have the wearer of the Tricolor Jersey. "
