Marianne Vos of the Rabobank Liv has won the first ever Women's Tour.
Vos had won stages three and four to put herself in the lead going into the final 108.3km stage from Hawich to Bury St Edmunds and took the sprint at Mistley to give herself a twenty second advantage.
Gunnewijk, Pooley, Brennauer & Hall broke away taking a 1.25 lead with Brennauer taking the second sprint at Long Melford after 56kms.
A mechanical forced Emma Pooley out of the break after she had taken the first climb of the day at Bridge Street. Fourteen kilometres later at Hitcham, Gunnewijk took the second climb but the gap was dropping all the time and inside the final ten kilometres, the escapers were caught.
It was set up for Marianne Vos who powered away, ahead of Giorgia Bronzini of Wiggle-Honda and Amy Pieters of The Netherlands team to win the stage and take the overall victory.
