Warwickshire County Cricket Club are battling on at the end of the second day of their County Championship match at Taunton
Twenty one wickets had fallen on the first day and Somerset resumed their second innings on 41-1.
Jeetan Patal took 5-86 and Josh Poysden three wickets as Warwicks bowled out Somerset for 211 in 74.3 overs, giving themselves a target of 184 to win.
However, Warwicks were soon in trouble. Ian Westwood went for three, Jon Trott four, Ian Bell one, Sam Hain for a duck and Matt Lamb for one.
Alex Mellor made 22 but he was caught by Abell and Keith Barker (2) and Jeetan Patal one swiftly followed him back to the pavillion.
Ricky Clarke and Chris Wright came together and put on seventy runs before stumps to leave Warwicks needing 53 runs to win with two wickets left.
