Warwickshire County Cricket Club were forced to follow on, on the third day of their County Championship game against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
Warwicks resumed on 100-4 in reply to Notts 600 all out and lost Laurie Evans for 41 and Ricky Clarke for five before Tim Ambrose who had made 46 was caught behind by Read.
Jeetan Patal could only add five to the score but Keith Barker hit 71 runs from 76 balls and with Chris Wright out for 22, Warwicks were all out for 260.
Being 340 runs behind, Notts enforced the follow on and Warwicks were 42-0 when the rain came down and play ended early.
