Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team coach Chuck Weber has said that his side wanted four points from the weekend and got them.
Weber told the Blaze website: "We talked before the weekend about doing the business and getting four points and that is what we have done.
"It is not easy with the long bus trip up here but we had to grind it out. I much preferred this match, having to play with a one-goal lead for 19 minutes - it was play-off hockey.
"Edinburgh had their push at times and had a couple of chances at the end when they pulled their goalie but we held on.
"I thought the line of Lauzon, Robinson and Bruton was fantastic. Sometimes you need a line to step up and push you over the top and they did that."
