Bradley Wiggins faces a battle for the gold medal in tomorrow's Mens Time Trial.
The 2012 Tour De France winner will ride the a 44 kilometre route which starts and finishes in Hampton Court Palace, via Richmond, Kingston-upon-Thames and parts of Surrey.
Wiggins has been in good form when time trialing over the last couple of seasons but was beaten in the Prologue on the opening stage of the Tour De France by Switzerland's Fabian Cancellera, who has declared himself fit to ride after crashing in the road race on Saturday.
The Kilburn Kid will also face stiff competition from World Time Trial champion Tony Martin. Spain's Luis Leon Sanchez, Belgium's Phillippe Gilbert and Giro D'Italia winner Ryder Hesjedal.
Wiggins and Chris Froome (pictured below) will represent Great Britain with David McCann and Danny Martin representing Ireland.
The first rider down the ramp will leave at 2.15pm with riders going off at ninety second intervals.
