Bradley Wiggins won the Criterium Du Dauphine for the second year in succession this afternoon.
Wiggins had a minute and a half lead going into the final 126km stage from Morzine to Châtel over Team Sky team-mate Michael Rogers and the pair saw a number of groups try to attack after the descent from Morzine.
Nine riders did get away clear but they did not get any more than 2.35 ahead of the Team Sky led peloton.
Jerome Coppel (Saur-Sojasun) and Pierre Rolland (Europcar) took the biggest climb of the day on the Col du Corbier before the breaks were shut down and a bunch sprint ensued when the race arrived in Châtel.
Katusha's Daniel Moreno got the line and he held off Luis Leon Sanchez of Rabobank to record his second stage win of the race in a time of 2.59.37 with Cadel Evans of BMC in third and Team Sky's Edvald Boasson Hagen fourth.
Evans could not get enough time on Wiggins and Rogers and Team Sky were able to record a 1-2-4 in the General Classification with Chris Froome who has again ridden well in fourth.
