World Champion Philippe Gilbert is to rider the traditional UCI World Tour cycling season opener - The Santos Tour Down Under.
Gilbert (pictured below, left), has been named in the seven man squad by BMC for the race in Australia from January 17th to 22nd.
The BMC team is as follows: Alessandro Ballan, Philippe Gilbert, Martin Kohler, Klaas Lodewyck, Amaël Moinard, Steve Morabito and Danilo Wyss
