Neil Carter had a five wicket haul as Warwicks bowled Lancashire out for 319 on the third day of their County Championship game at Old Trafford.
Lancs resumed on 84-2 and Neil Carter added to his wicket yesterday by taking the wickets of Moore who had made 43 and Prince who was out for a duck.
He also had Jimmy Anderson out after Chris Woakes had removed Chilton. Lancs were now on 113-6 but some good play from Croft who made 56 and Sutton (33) pushed the score along.
Chapple finished on 53 not out when Mahmood was caught by Chopra for the final wicket which saw Lancs all out for 319 and Warwicks needing 321 to win.
Warwicks did not start well, losing Chopra for six , Ian Bell for 9 and Jon Trott for six to close on 52-3.
