Dimension Data's Mark Cavendish has said that he was so happy to have taken the win on stage three of the Tour De France in Angers.
Cavendish beat Andre Greipel in a photo finish and the Manx Missile told Matt Rendall: "I know when I usually win a photo finish. I thought I had it but you never know
"I kind of knew that I had it but you still have to wait. It was phenomenal. It was uphill with speed and if you hit out early someone was always going to come and that's why when Mark (Renshaw) went and Greipel came through I wanted to be behind Greipel.
"Like me last year, I was anxious about hitting out too early and I knew Andre would do the same. He had another wind when I started to come past and he went again but it took me by surprise but I am so happy to have got that.
"it was phenomenal with Berni (Eisel) doing twenty kilometres and Mark Renshaw in the last kilometre what can I say it was superb.
"A lot of people were excited when we got the boys back together. A lot of people scoffed at it but we came here and done our sponsors proud and more importantly raising importannce for Qhubeka.
