Warwickshire County Cricket Club made 238-8 in their sixty overs in their two day friendly at Derbyshire.
Warwicks batted first and were soon in trouble with four wickets going down for only eleven runs and Mark Turner taking all four wickets.
Rikki Clarke and Laurie Evans put on 55 for the fifth wicket with Evans going for 35 whilst Clarke went on to top score with 72.
When Clarke went, Warwicks lost Keith Barker who was run out for 22 and Richard Jones for eight to see them on 16108.
Paul Best (47 not out) and Pete McKay (29 not out) batted on until tea when Warwicks declared with thirty overs left to play.
However, only seven were possible and Derbyshire closed on 23-0.
