Fernando Gavira of Etixx Quick Step recorded his second victory on the Tour of Poland to extend his lead after four stages.
Today was a stage of 218kms from Nowy S¹cz which finished in Rzeszów Podkarpackie with three laps.
It was De Marchi of BMC and Jens Keukelaire of Orica BikeExchange who were the first that were allowed to break by the peloton led by race leader Fernando Gavira.
They were joined by Marycz, Stacowiak, Boev, Rekita and Toneli and took a lead of 6.35 and then 7.45 before it dropped to 5.20.
On a stage of six climbs, Marycz took the second climb and Stacowiak the third befor the break was split and Toneli who was away with Keukelaire and De Marchi took the fourth climb.
With 27kms left, De Marchi attacked again and went two minutes clear of the peloton who sent Lukas Wisnowski to bring him back.
That he did and and then his team mate Zdenek Stybar took over in the lead before being caught with 10kms to go.
The peloton stayed together and the sprint was on. Up came the race leader and he took the win to extend his lead in the race.
