Warwickshire County Cricket Club had a good day with the bat at Taunton on the second day of their County Championship game with Somerset at Taunton.
Warwicks resumed on 27-1 and although they lost Laurie Evans for four in the 17th over, Varun Chopra hit 17 fours in an innings of 93 before he was caught behind by Kieswetter.
Darren Maddy failed to trouble the scorers but Jim Troughton, after losing Ambrose and Clarke cheaply put together a good partnership with Chris Woakes.
Troughton finished the day unbeaten on 132 from 277 balls hitting two sixes, whilst Woakes made 107 from 145 balls before he was caught by Compton.
Warwicks finished the day on 387-7.
