Warwickshire County Cricket Club enjoyed a second good day in their Champions match against the Marylebone Cricket Club in Abu Dhabi.
Resuming on 370-3, Jim Troughton took his score up for 54 before he was caught behind by Eckersley.
Laurie Evans who had partnered Troughton overnight, added 72 before he was caught by Malan and after Tim Ambrose had given Chris Rushworth his third wicket when he was caught after making twenty five, Warwicks thoughts were turning to a declaration.
That came with Rikki Clarke 24 not out and Javid 25 not out and Warwicks on 561-6.
Warwicks got straight into the MCC openers. Northeast was run out with thirteen runs on the board.
Chris Wright who had been involved in the run out had Dale Benkenstein out for a duck, and then had Malan trapped lbw also without scoring.
In Wright's next over, He had Peter Trego caught by Porterfield and then Jimmy Adams caught after he had made 20.
The MCC were on 50-5 and Clarke had Eckersley caught for six and Oliver Hannon-Dalby had Kerrigan trapped lbw to see the MCC on 73-7 at stumps.
