Warwickshire's Jon Trott was in cracking form for England on the opening day of the Test Match with Bangladesh at Lords.
England were put into bat and lost Cook, who was trapped lbw for seven. In came Jon Trott to partner Andrew Strauss. The pair put on 181 runs for the second wicket before Strauss was bowled for 83 by Mahmudullah.
Trott reached his century in 133, hitting twelve fours but saw Kevin Piertersen dismissed for 18 and Warwickshire team mate Ian Bell bowled for 17 by Rubel.
At stumps, Trott had taken his score to an unbeaten 175 and England were 362-4.
