Warwickshire County Cricket Club had a long day in the field on the opening day of their County Championship game against Yorkshire at Headingly.
Warwicks won the toss and put Yorks into bat with Lyth only making eleven before he was caught by Clarke off the bowling of Chris Woakes.
In the next over, Yorks has their skipper Andrew Gale caught behind by Tim Ambrose to give Keith Barker a wicket.
Gary Ballance and Alex Lees moved the score into three figures but Lees, who had made 56 was caught by Chopra to give Woakes a second wicket.
Ballance carried on and lost partners Rashid, Rafiq and Hodd before going for 112 when he was trapped lbw by Barker, who had also taken the wicket of Liam Plunkett to give him a three wicket haul.
Chris Woakes also took three wickets when he had Ryan Sidebottom caught by Tim Ambrose.
Yorks closed on 294-9.
